The story behind the name
Lanai Health was founded by Dr. Raina Gazurian, a board-certified family physician with more than 15 years of experience in primary care.
The name “Lanai” comes from a running joke with her closest girlfriends about retiring together on a house with a lanai like the Golden Girls. But it also reflects the heart of this practice: open, welcoming, relaxed, and built on real relationships.
Dr. Gazurian created Lanai Health because she believes medicine should feel personal — that every patient deserves time, attention, and care tailored to their unique needs.
